Governor of East Sepik Province

East Sepik Province is committed to building a resilient and prosperous future by aligning its Provincial Development Plan (2023–2027) with national priorities while drawing on its long-term vision under the “Greater Sepik” concept. Despite challenges in governance, infrastructure, health, education, and law and order, the province is determined to harness its strengths in agriculture, fisheries, tourism, and culture—especially through value-adding programs in cocoa and vanilla—supported by both international partners and local initiatives. Central to this effort is strengthening governance and accountability through the Corporate Strategic Plan (2020–2023), which seeks to empower communities, improve service delivery, and foster trust between people and government, ensuring that development is driven collectively for the benefit of all.
